Opioids. Not Your Fathers Little Pill

Opioids. Not Your Fathers Little Pill

Max and Ginger tackle yet another difficult topic this week, with a discussion about the opioid crisis, and the companies responsible for the distribution of a large amount of the pills.

Figures!

Their guest is Dr. Clarissa Johnston from the Dell Teaching Hospital in Austin. Of course, this doesn’t prevent Max having a dig at amongst other things, a LinkedIn job posting from Cardinal Health, an oped on drug price controls from an industry group, and a few other snippets around YouTube, before they finally get to the opioid crisis in the US.

The Hoopla Around Guadaloop

The Hoopla Around Guadaloop

Ginger allows Max to get on his usual rant regarding is anyone in DC, Republican or Democrat doing anything remotely useful for the average American (umm….nope), before getting into the meat of the show.

OK, I think we can squeeze a human in right there

The guests this week are from the University of Texas team that is building something called Guadaloop, a project to work with the Elon Musk concept Hyperloop, whereby pods, (a train) would run at high velocity in a vacuum tunnel. The team explains how their project works, and why this type of technology could represent the future of travel.

Guns, Lies, And Video Games

Guns, Lies, And Video Games

Ginger and Max get right into their first show ever on the heavy topic of guns.
